Here’s a Fun Fact about me: When I was 17 I got my first CD player for Christmas, along with a $50 gift card to Coconuts, which was the music store at the mall (yes, this was back when there were actual music stores at the mall).  The first CD I bought with that gift card was the Madrigal History Tour by the King’s Singers.

I like to say that William Byrd is my first love, and we’re coming up on our big 25 year anniversary here soon. In honor of that, I’m starting a new podcast – weekly short little snippets on different pieces of music, and the history behind them.

Episode List (click for the score, links to listen and buy, etc)

Episode One is on Byrd’s Ave Verum Corpus.
Episode Two is on the Coventry Carol.
Episode Three is on Now is The Month of Maying
