1. Why are you doing this?
Watch the video on the front page. It’ll tell you everything you need to know.
  2. Who are you?
I’m a writer, and podcaster, and I am passionate about music connecting people through time, and space. I’ve been podcasting since 2009 on my big passion in life, 16th century England, specifically the music of the time period.
  3. I’m part of a choir – can we sing together?
    YES!
It would be great if you did – it would definitely help us in the mixing process to have some entire choirs singing together. Please make sure you’re recording with the best mic you have, and that you’re following the conducting video, though. You could mute it so as not to have the background sound from the recording. You will need to follow that video, to make sure it can be synced up. Mr. Williams’ direction is key in this process.
  4. I don’t think I’m a good singer. What should I do?
You should sing! That’s the beautiful thing about a choir. Individual voices that might not be solo voices can blend together and make an amazing sound. Record your music and send it in. It’ll be great. I promise.
  5. I don’t have good recording equipment. Can I still record?
Yes, please. Just make sure you record with the best equipment you can. If that’s your internal speaker on your laptop, so be it. Record in a quiet room, and follow the conducting video, and the sound engineer will take care of the rest.
